Project Facts: Batching controls were provided by Egan’s IntelliBatch team for a new Cambridge Pavers plant built by Standley Batch. The scope of work consisted of automating a complex four mixer base / face batching system for its state-of-the-art paver facility. The completed project provided the plant’s operations with advanced automation and controls customized to its specifications. Cambridge Pavers also leveraged an Egan batching system in its South Amboy facility.

A painless install and more efficient batching system

From the early planning stages to the installation and programming of the batch system, Egan provided us with exactly what they promised: a painless install and more efficient batching system. We have a fairly complex setup; with two mixers, liquid color system, and multiple belts and aggregate bins. Egan understood our needs and did everything in their power to fulfill them

This system has dramatically increased our cycle and production time as well as improved product consistency. And, our operations people love the ease of working within the system. My only regret is that we didn’t utilize Egan’s system sooner!
